After Laskar Pelangi the movie reaped great success, now young Indonesian movie maker releases a children drama movie titled Garuda di Dadaku (eng: Eagle On My Chest). Garuda di Dadaku, works of young directors Ifa Isfansyah is a film that is capable to stimulating spirit of children and teenager especially for foster children in the layover homes (Rumah Singgah) and orphanages through soccer.
The story of Garuda di Dadaku tells about the meaning of a spirit and sacrifice to achieve goals, This film is expected to provide motivation to all people, especially children to achieve all their dream.
At the screening of Garuda di Dadaku the movie in Jakarta, Lifebuoy Shampoo Indonesia to bring hundreds of foster children from the layover homes in Jakarta, among others Rumah Singgah Sekar Pedengkolan, rumah singgah DPS Bambu Apus and rumah singgah Kurnia Keramatjati Jakarta.
It was also attended by hundreds of students from SSI Arsenal Jakarta, Shanty Harmayn, a film producer and actors who support the film, Emir Mahira and national soccer player, Ponaryo Astaman.
Garuda di Dadaku obviously able to touch the feeling of Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Adhyaksa Dault. "I shed my tears while watching Garuda di Dadaku. This movie is worth to watch by children in Indonesia," Adhyaksa said, after watching this film in the XXI movie theater, FX Building, Jakarta. Minister also said that the film produced by SBO Films and Mizan Productions as very educative.
