Based on the results of surveys conducted by Finance Asia magazine in Hong Kong, Indonesian telecommunications company PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) directly achieves five award with categories Best Managed Company, Best Corporate Governance, Best Investor Relations, Best Corporate Social Responsibilty, Most Committed to a Strong Dividend Policy.
"Of course, we feel very proud Telkom be able to reach awards from international reputable institutions such as the Finance Asia. We believe this achievement is the results of hard work of all management and employees of Telkom," said Vice President Public and Marketing Communication Telkom, Eddy Kurnia in a press release, Sunday (5/7/2009).
Previously, the 2006 Finance Asia has given similar awards to Telkom for the categories Best Managed Company, Best Corporate Governance, Best Investor Relations, Best Commitment to Strong Dividends, and the Best Chief Financial Officer (CFO) given to Rinaldi Firmansyah (now General Director Telkom ).
For Telkom, this awards will boost up spirit and motivation of all Telkom officials to continue to work for the best so then can be preserve it in the years to come.
Overall, Polling conducted in ten countries including China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, involving approximately 250 investors and analysts.
For each countries, there are seven categories given which is Best Managed Company, Best Corporate Governance, Best Investor Relations, CSR Best, Most Committed to Strong Dividend Policy, Best Mid Cap and Best Small Cap.
