The family of David Hartanto Widjaja, Indonesian student who was killed in Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore on March 2, 2009, met Indonesian Vice President Jusuf Kalla (JK). They ask to the Government of Indonesia to be able to help them related to the legal process that happen in Singapore, so that David catastrophe could be quickly revealed, fair and transparent.
"We ask that the government can contact the certain parties, such as the Singapore Police, so that this case can be transparent and fair," said Hartono Wijaya, David's father, Arriving at the official residence of the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Diponegoro street No. 2, Jakarta, Thursday (7/5/2009).
Hartono with his wife and William Hartanto, David's older brother, arrived around 17:30 o'clock (Western Indonesia Time). Also attended representatives of advocacy groups for David, Christovita Wiloto. Their presence is directly on the invitation by the Vice President Jusuf Kalla.
"The Vice President was concerned with this case. I met him yesterday, and after he knows the main problems of this case, he asks David's family to come to meet him," said Wiloto.
