Golkar Party and Hanura Party, on Friday 1 may 2009, officially nominate the Chairman of Golkar Party M Jusuf Kalla and Chairman of Hanura Party retired General Wiranto as the candidates for president and vice president in the upcoming Presidential Election 2009. Declaration made at the Golkar Party Central Executive Board Camp, Ki Mangunsarkoro street, Central Jakarta around 19.00 Western Indonesia Time.
This declaration was read out by Golkar secretary-general Sumarsono in front of the chairman Jusuf Kalla, Wiranto, and all executive board members of both party. They both agreed to work together on the 2009 Presidential Elections.
